Description: The Judge Group is currently looking for a Histology Tech for one of their largest clients in Exton, PA.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Accurately perform routine and specialized histology techniques and procedures
- Follow standard operating procedures for grossing of small specimens
- Follow quality control and quality assurance
- Serve as a resource and provide supervision
- Meet schedule and demands of department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors or Associates degree degree in chemical, physical, or laboratory science, or medical lab technology
- 3 years of laboratory experience in a hospital or private lab
- HT or MLT certification
- Proficiency with microtomes, tissue processors, strainers, and equipment
