The hospice aide is a paraprofessional working under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide personal care and promote patient comfort.
Requirements:
- Perform personal care tasks promptly and report any limitations to the Case Manager.
- Communicate positively and respectfully with patients and families, maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, bed linen changes, dressing, and undressing as assigned.
- Respect patient and family environment and needs.
- Must hold both a CNA and HHA license.
