The hospice aide is a paraprofessional team member working under a registered nurse's supervision to meet patients' personal needs and promote comfort.
Requirements:
- Must hold both a CNA and HHA license.
- Perform personal care tasks such as baths, oral hygiene, shampoos, and changing linens.
- Assist with dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
- Communicate positively with patients and families, maintaining confidentiality and ethical care.
- Report any inability to perform tasks to the Case Manager promptly.
- Respect patient and family environments and individual needs.
Salary up to $28/hr, depending on experience.
