One of Addison Group’s clients is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Director to support their growing team and ensure a positive employee experience.

Job Description:

The Human Resources Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and practices across the organization. This role involves overseeing employee relations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, managing payroll, recruitment, and providing guidance on organizational planning and workforce forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate and recommend HR policies and objectives for the company.
  2. Establish positive employer-employee relations practices and maintain compliance with legal requirements.
  3. Act as the primary contact with labor counsel and government agencies regarding HR matters.
  4. Protect both employee and company interests by adhering to HR laws and policies.
  5. Approve terminations and disciplinary actions as needed.
  6. Lead organizational planning, job design, and manpower forecasting.
  7. Develop wage structures, performance appraisal programs, and employee benefits.
  8. Administer bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll.
  9. Establish standard recruiting practices and conduct recruitment efforts.
  10. Design and deliver training, safety, and development programs.
  11. Ensure compliance with AAP/EEOC policies and regulations.
  12. Annually review organizational policies and recommend improvements.
  13. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and industry trends.
  14. Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to the CEO on personnel matters.

Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of proven experience in HR.
  2. Background in recruiting, employee relations, payroll, and training/onboarding.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS platforms.
  4. Collaborative, team-oriented attitude with flexibility to manage various tasks.
  5. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
