The role involves collaborating with managers on staffing strategies, conducting onboarding, and communicating policies.
Additional duties include managing FMLA, disability, workers' compensation cases, employee relations, and incident investigations.
The candidate will participate in developing departmental goals, ensure compliance with employment laws, and handle terminations and exit interviews.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years of HR experience in manufacturing (union experience preferred), strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to multitask across multiple sites.
They should be results-driven, process-oriented, and able to travel approximately 15%.
