We are seeking an Independent Contractor - Art Handler in Dallas, TX, for a freelance role within the Operations department.
- Maintain storage rooms and concierge locations, ensuring safety and optimal space usage
- Pack artworks for transport and storage, and handle incoming/outgoing shipments with accurate inventory records
- Install and de-install artworks for private viewings, handling fragile, antique, and high-end items
- Assist with breaking down crates and disposing of materials as needed
- Work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, demonstrating strong communication and teamwork skills
- Handle heavy lifting (up to 150 lbs), and operate warehouse equipment like hand trucks and lifts
- Experience with 2D/3D artworks and inventory systems is preferred, along with physical ability to perform various movements and tolerate outdoor weather conditions
