Independent Contractor Groomer – In-Store (Dawg Team)

Dawg Team seeks experienced, professional Independent Contractor Groomers to provide high-quality in-store grooming services in a clean, supportive, and client-focused environment. Our groomers are trusted partners who take pride in their craft while delivering exceptional care to every pet that walks through our doors.

Contractor Responsibilities:

• Provide full grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, trims, nail care, ear cleaning, and basic coat/skin treatments
• Safely and humanely handle pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Deliver a calm, positive grooming experience for pets and a professional experience for pet parents
• Communicate grooming observations, coat/skin concerns, and recommendations to clients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming workspace
• Operate independently while upholding Dawg Team’s quality and care standards

Tools, Supplies & Work Structure:

• Groomers must supply and maintain their own professional grooming tools and equipment
• All shampoos, conditioners, and grooming supplies are provided by Dawg Team
• Flexible scheduling — set your own availability within shop operating hours
• Work as an independent contractor (1099)

Ideal Contractor Qualifications:

• Prior grooming experience required (certification preferred but not mandatory)
• Strong time management and professionalism
• Passion for animal care and client satisfaction
• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
