You will troubleshoot and repair various plant equipment to include hydraulic presses, furnaces, grinders, steel prep & coating equipment, gear shapers, dust & furnace collection equipment, and HVAC equipment.
You will perform PM's based on PM schedules and replace worn parts, maintain correct fluid levels, replace filters, and oil and grease equipment. Experience with electrical (480v), mechanical including hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding. You will support the installation of new equipment, rebuilding of equipment, and rearrangement of existing equipment. You will work on fabricating workbenches, platforms, fixtures and carts. You will work with engineering to upgrade existing equipment for enhanced safety, functionality, and reliability.
* Must have experience with both mechanical & electrical maintenance.
* Must have experience with mechanical power transmission including gears,shafts,belts,chains, and motors.
* Experience with hydraulics & pneumatics.
* Experience with 480 volt 3 phase.
* Ability to troubleshoot PLC's, servo systems, industrial controls, motor controls and electric circuits.
* Must be able to operate band saws, drill presses, bench grinders and welding equipment.
* Must be able to read blueprints and schematics. CAD a plus.
* Experience performing PM's.
