Job Announcement: IT Assistant Program Manager (APM)

Start Date: Contingent upon contract award

Summit Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly experienced AssistantProgram Manager (APM) to lead and support a comprehensive IT services contract for the AVCOE G-6, consolidating support across all AVCOE organizations under a single contract vehicle to achieve economies of scale. The scope includes eleven key areas of responsibility: customer service support (manned help desk), subordinate and external customer support, NIPR/SIPR video conferencing, system and data administration, productivity and collaboration tools, COOP planning, cybersecurity, logistics, project management, and compliance with DoD and Army IT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Program Manager in all aspects of contract management and daily operations.
• Step in and assume full responsibilities of the Program Manager as needed.
• Support communication and coordination with government stakeholders.
• Ensure continuity of leadership and service delivery.
• Submit CV for Government approval within 10 days of contract award.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years managing IT operations within a DoD environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of developing and delivering presentations to senior-ranking government officials.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) in an Information Technology-related field.
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or equivalent/higher certification.
