Seeking a construction inspector to enforce municipal codes and regulations related to infrastructure construction.
Responsibilities include on-site inspections, interpreting plans, reviewing permits, testing materials, and ensuring compliance with building and zoning ordinances.
Will issue citations, assist in enforcement, participate in technical reviews, and update construction guidelines.
Must have at least two years of inspection experience, knowledge of building codes (IBC, IRC), and strong communication skills.
Requires a valid Missouri driver’s license, the ability to work outdoors and in varied conditions, and flexibility for shift hours.
Physical demands include climbing, bending, and prolonged standing.
