The Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for selling, underwriting, quoting, issuing, endorsing renewing, and cancelling insurance policies for Snap-on franchisees. Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service to Snap-on franchisees. Complete telephone intake of related claims. Insurance programs include auto, business owner’s, inventory, worker’s compensation, umbrella, short term disability, life, critical illness, and accident.
- Selling, underwriting, quoting, issuing, endorsing, renewing, and cancelling insurance policies for auto, business owner’s, inventory, worker’s compensation, umbrella, short term disability, life, critical illness, and accident
- Provide excellent customer service to Snap-on franchisees by answering questions and servicing existing insurance policies
- Process requests for various insurance documents such as auto ID cards, certificates of insurance, state specific forms, etc. on the same day as requested
- Intake of insurance claims from programs offered
- Adhere to agency policies and procedures
- Maintain franchisee census information within agency system
- Participate in the annual Snap-on Franchisee Conference (travel required)
- Property, Casualty, Life, and Health insurance licenses or willing to obtain necessary licenses within 60 days of hire
- Excellent customer service skills. Comfortable and proficient with phone and face-to-face customer contact
- Participate in seminars and classes to meet continuing education requirements
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Web based programs
- Strong problem solving ability in order to complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
