Job Description

  • Achieve new business production goals
  • Develop and manage an active pipeline of qualified prospects, generating leads, networking, some cold-calling, and client referrals
  • Ensure all clientele is properly covered and review policies for any coverage gaps
  • Responsible for the gathering of required information to process quotes and renewals
  • Enter all information and notes into our core insurance software and CRM
  • Responsible for working with our existing policyholders to both service their insurance needs and retain their accounts
  • Counsel, educate and provide accurate insurance advice through research and problem resolution
  • Ability to explain and verify coverages
  • Must use established guidelines and procedures to perform job
  • Other duties as may be described

Job Requirements

  • Ability to close a sale
  • 1+ years sales experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self-driven and well organized
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive computer skills (Excel, Word, OneDrive, and Outlook required; SharePoint and CRM preferred)
  • Smartphone savvy
  • Typing skills a must
  • Business degree (preferred, but not required)
  • Possess a Kentucky Property and Casualty Insurance License (Preferred but must be willing to obtain within 3 months of employment. Tuition will be reimbursed after 6 month’s employment and passing the exam)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation
  • Must be willing to travel locally

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Work Location: A mixture of remote and in office. You must live within a 25-mile radius
