Insurance Claims Defense Attorney

$130,000 to $190,000+ (dependent on location and experience)

Actively seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join an esteemed firm in a hybrid role. You will play a critical role in providing legal counsel to insurance companies and their matters and representing them in defense insurance-related disputes. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging cases and contribute to the success of their clientele and firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine insurance claims made against the company and provide legal assessments on pertinent matters.
• Counsel clients on various insurance topics, such as claim processing, risk assessment, and compliance with regulations.
• Advocate for clients during negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings concerning insurance coverage conflicts.
• Prepare legal documents, including coverage analyses, pleadings, and settlement contracts.
• Work closely with clients, claims adjusters, and other parties to secure beneficial results.
• Offer strategic advice to clients on all aspects of insurance issues.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the relevant state bar association/s.
• Minimum 5 years of experience inside Insurance defense law.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies, regulations, and industry practices.
• Excellent analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of handling a diverse caseload of insurance carriers disputes and achieving successful outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits:
