We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking to expand their career in the legal industry, specifically in the field of Insurance Defense Litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a wide range of insurance defense cases and will be involved in all aspects of the litigation process including, but not limited to, discovery, deposition, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities:

As a Litigation Attorney, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
2. Representing clients in a wide range of insurance defense claims.
3. Working closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.
4. Regularly handling court appearances and depositions.
5. Communicating with clients and providing timely reporting of case developments.
6. Conducting legal research and analysis of law sources such as statutes, legal articles, and legal codes to prepare legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc.
7. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
8. Complying with all legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Litigation Attorney position should possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice in Georgia.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Insurance Defense Litigation.
4. Proven background in deposition and trial preparation.
5. Ability to interpret and analyze complex legal documents.
6. Strong written and oral communication skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
8. Ability to manage large caseloads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Proficient in MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, etc.)
