Responsibilities:
  • Programming, space planning, design of spaces and finishes, FF&E selection, documentation, editing specifications, producing deliverable drawing sets for finish plans, interior elevations, room finish schedules, furniture plans, and interior details
  • Performs Revit modeling and detailing or documentation in AutoCad
  • Perform cross-discipline discussions and coordination with multidisciplinary teammates
  • Conduct site investigations and observations
  • Prepare narratives, design presentations, boards, drawing and specification documents in accordance with a high degree of quality, working within project schedule and budget constraints
  • Performs construction administration
  • Assisting with marketing/business development activities
  • Attends client and internal meetings
  • Conduct presentations
  • Occasional travel for project related activities relative to existing building assessments/investigations, client meetings, or construction jobsite observations may be required
Qualifications:

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a 4 year accredited program in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • 3 + years of experience after obtaining Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • NCIDQ certification required
  • A condition of employment for this position is complying with the company vaccination requirements

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with computer software including AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
  • Prior experience with A/E firms is a plus
  • Community involvement and participation in IIDA or affiliated Interior Design organization is a plus
