Kadant Solutions Division is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineering intern to join our team. The intern will assist with design, testing, and development of systems and components, supporting ongoing projects while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of parts, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
- Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations to support design decisision.
- Support testing efforts.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and documentation of results.
- Collaborate with corss-functional teams including engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Contribute ideas to improve design processes.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- Basic understanding of mechnical principles, materials, and manufactuirng processes.
- Strong proble-solving and communication skiils.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Detail oriented.
