Responsibilities

Assesses, delivers, and documents respiratory care to include pulmonary hygiene and airway management and performs diagnostic exams as necessary. Manages all patients on ventilators and related life support equipment. Performs routine blood gas analysis. Assesses, plans, and evaluates the patient plan of care utilizing multiple respiratory modalities, respiratory therapy driven protocols, and advanced ventilation techniques. 

Program Guidelines:

 

  • Temporary 12-week Assignment (First assignment will be 13 weeks to account for NEO)
  • Assignment can be extended one-time for a maximum of 25-weeks after which the employee will need to convert to FT/PT/ PRN or be termed.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience
  • RT rate $40.00 per hour plus any differentials.Required to work PT or FT hours for the length of assignment

Qualifications

REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy ProgramAZ-issued Respiratory Therapist License (CT RCP)Certified Respiratory Therapist (CT CRTH)AHA BLS required upon hire  PREFERRED:Registered Respiratory Therapist (RG RRT)Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (CT NRP)
