The Procurement Intern supports the Procurement team by assisting with supply pricing, updating cost increases, and reporting data.
Position responsibilities include procuring materials for manufacturing, ensuring on-time delivery, communicating quality requirements, reviewing delivery schedules, and addressing acquisition issues. The intern collaborates with engineering and project teams to resolve obsolescence, maintains purchase and bid documentation, and works with suppliers to improve performance and reduce lead times.
Skills required include strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and databases.
Qualifications include current enrollment in a 4-year Business, Supply Chain, or related program.
