Join a trusted manufacturing team in the Naples area as the go-to person ensuring every nut, bolt, and raw material is exactly where it needs to be—on time and accounted for. You’ll be the link between receiving, the stockroom, and production, keeping the operation humming with precision.
A day in the role
Morning trucks arrive and you’re ready—verifying counts and condition of incoming materials, labeling, and slotting them so they’re easy to find later. Production requests roll in; you pull and stage items so jobs start on schedule. Throughout the day, you update inventory records, apply First-In, First-Out practices, and help with cycle counts so the numbers match what’s on the shelves. You stay in close contact with the fabrication/shop floor to anticipate material needs, and you take pride in a warehouse that’s clean, orderly, and safe.
How you’ll contribute
- Maintain accurate stock levels throughout the warehouse
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming material quantities and condition
- Organize, label, and store materials for quick retrieval
- Pull and stage components for production and outbound shipments
- Apply FIFO to protect product quality and data accuracy
- Assist with cycle counts and periodic inventory audits
- Communicate material status and needs with the shop/fabrication team
- Promote a tidy, efficient, and safe warehouse environment
What helps you succeed
- 1+ year in inventory, warehouse, or logistics work
- Working knowledge of inventory controls (FIFO, cycle counting, organization)
- Sharp attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfort in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
- Collaborative mindset and strong work ethic
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with inventory systems is a plus
- Forklift familiarity is a plus
