Acting as an information source liaison and communicator between business functions. Understanding strategic application business needs and plans for growth. Enhancing the quality of IT products and services. Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models. Guarantees that company standards, quality and core IT processes and services and established, followed, upheld and defined.
Develops detailed work plans, estimates, schedules as well as objectives and project and implementation scopes. Reports and follows up on timelines, status, resources planning and metrics.
Act as a liaison between the business, the customer, and the technical team to design, develop, and deliver complex technical solutions on time and on budget leveraging best coding practices, and large-scale system processing
Responsible for developing business as-is and to-be process flow diagrams. Capable of writing business project charters, business process functional specification documents, and acts as a liaison with the functional developers
Responsible for leading and facilitating training between the business and the customer throughout the iterative testing cycles: unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing for applications related projects
Obtaining customer acceptance ensuring customer satisfaction through post-implementations and service debrief with the business functions. Identifying and developing new opportunities with the business. Managing customer satisfaction within project transition period
Makes sure that all processes are carried out in the most efficient and effective manner while simultaneously upholding a given set of standards. Evaluate, modify and optimize new and pre-existing business processes, continually reevaluate whether each project/service is meeting the applicable standards and engage in problem solving with other peers and supporting functions. Perform root cause analysis and discover the underlying causes that can lead to problems so that preventive actions can be established
Manages change interacting with key stakeholders and affected staff. Development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the business. Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project and service elements
In depth exposure to cloud SaaS applications, ERPs and Microsoft Technologies
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) desirable
Proven experience in project management with the ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
Strategic thinking skills with strong management skills
Ability to perform under pressure
Costumer focused oriented with high emotional intelligence and the ability to build working relationships
Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance existing systems
Ability to write procedures, document business processes, and prepare application documentation.
Presenting clear, concise and logical communication, both oral and written. Sustainable Infrastructure Experience highly desirable
Adept at project and change management
Experience with supporting geographical information systems (GIS) working with maps, compiling geographic data, analyzing mapped information, sharing and discovering geographic information, using maps and geographic information in a range of applications, and managing geographic information in a database
Work with the cross-functional project teams to develop solutions that support the organization’s goals
Use your creativity in developing high-quality user experiences
Follow the established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards
Computer proficiency in programs such as Microsoft office 365, Visio, MS Project, Power BI
College 4-year Degree in IT and/or 3-5 years of application design, development & management
Familiarity with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle management, configuration, change and release management principles and concepts
Project management certifications (PMP), or experience would be an asset
3+ years of SAP ERP implementation support experience
3+ years of experience, in developing enterprise level IT applications
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Understanding of ITIL Processes
General knowledge of system development methodologies
Business Intelligence reporting and analytics experience
Experience in supporting operations and maintenance business processes
Experience in understanding code bases, including API design techniques
Licenses and / or Certification (if applicable)
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Travel to locations on a routine basis (10-20% per business needs)
The person in this will operate in a stationary position for significant portions of the day
The person in this position will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, copy machine, and printer
