We're seeking a talented Junior Interior Designer to join our luxury interior design firm in New York. Our creative and collaborative group works passionately to create stunning living environments for our successful clients. Our clients come to us for the depth of our Classical training and we need a professional who is continually studying and informing their aesthetic with research.

As Junior Interior Designer, you will work alongside Senior Interior Designers on whole-house and major remodel projects as well as new home construction. You will support their efforts managing these projects and work with your team to meet project deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; a minimum of two to three years of work experience with built-in finishes; and proficient AutoCAD skills. We are looking for someone personable, intelligent, resourceful, articulate, and self-motivated--someone who is detail-oriented and can multitask while maintaining accuracy and organization.


  • Create CAD plans, elevations and RCPs in AutoCAD
  • Draft custom furniture
  • Selecting and write FF&E schedules
  • Request quotes
  • Prepare proposals and budgets
  • Expedite, track status, inspect items at the warehouse, specify window treatment details for estimates, shop, etc.
  • Maintain professional and timely correspondence with clients, vendors, contractors and others on the team
  • Attend job site meetings to assist in ensuring design is built according to plan



  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • 2-3 years of interior design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with Furnishings and Studio Webware an asset; SketchUp a plus
  • Knowledge of, and passion for, classical architecture
  • Must be able to travel out of state on monthly basis
  • Must own a reliable car for use in this position
