We are seeking a proactive Kitchen Helper to join our team in Des Plaines, IL.
Responsibilities include assisting senior staff in a busy kitchen, managing deliveries and stock rotation, preparing food according to standards, maintaining hygiene, and supporting chefs with tasks like chopping vegetables and preparing meals (Halal and Non-Halal). Compliance with food safety regulations is essential.
Qualifications include strong organization, ability to handle workload independently or in a team, meeting deadlines, monitoring wastage, and working long hours in varying environments. Flexibility for different shifts is required.
