We are hiring a Kitchen Shift Leader to work 35-40 hours weekly. The role requires a positive, flexible attitude, motivational leadership, and a dedication to guest service. It offers opportunities for career growth, including advancement to a kitchen manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide kitchen staff to meet operational goals
- Assist in all kitchen positions as needed
- Maintain food quality and ensure recipe compliance
- Enforce sanitation and food safety standards
- Support cost control efforts
- Ensure adherence to kitchen protocols and HR procedures
- Create a respectful, honest work environment and model company values
- Interview, schedule, train, supervise, and coach staff
Requirements:
- 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Professional, positive attitude
- Ability to manage in the absence of the kitchen manager
- Valid food handler's card
