This role involves coordinating departmental personnel and payroll activities for casual staff, students, and appointees, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and international processes, and liaising with HR to ensure accurate documentation and workflows.
It also provides administrative support to leadership, manages calendars, supports budgets, prepares reports, and coordinates meetings and events.
Key responsibilities include managing complex projects, handling purchasing and billing, and developing administrative processes for efficiency.
Additional duties involve preparing HR documentation, tracking workflows, advising on policies, and supporting international hiring and visa processes.
The position requires four years of related experience or equivalent education, proficiency in MS Office, and experience with HR/payroll systems. Preferred candidates have academic or research environment experience and knowledge of visa procedures.
Schedule is full-time, hybrid, with a salary range based on experience.
