We're seeking a hands-on lab technician to support advanced research in Tempe, AZ. You'll work with cutting-edge camera systems, experimental setups, and embedded computing platforms for next-generation vision applications.
- Set up and maintain experimental hardware for computer vision research
- Design, fabricate, and 3D print custom components
- Assemble electronics, including soldering and wiring camera systems
- Configure and program single-board computers for data acquisition
- Assist with calibration and testing of camera systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on integration tasks
- Document procedures and results
Requirements include a background in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, hands-on experience with electronics, 3D modeling, and programming in C, C++, or Python. Strong communication and a collaborative mindset are essential. Due to export regulations, only U.S. persons are eligible. Preferred skills include FPGA programming, camera interfaces, computer vision knowledge, and embedded Linux experience. The role is on-site in Tempe, AZ, with an immediate start.
