JOB SUMMARY
To adhesive laminate two or more substrates together that provides the customer with a quality product in a timely manner, and in doing so, with the least amount of scrap as possible.

Shift Hours: 2:45pm - 11:00pm
Machine: L12
Base Rate: $19.80/hr. (includes shift differential)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Load and unload material on rewind machines.
  • Record correct number of yards in In-Process roll.
  • Check cut widths at shift change and changeovers.
  • Properly flag defective material.
  • Change adhesive drums.
  • Stack empty skids and discard raw material packing.
  • Complete daily reporting/paperwork: Job Reports, daily production, job ticket, and material usage.
  • Verify order numbers, tickets numbers, and materials from production order
  • Inspect machine and product to ensure quality product
  • Conduct changeovers, including return raw materials changing rubber rolls, cylinders, doctor blades, and knives; and breakdown and install raw material.
  • Timely communication with departments, such as Machine Shop, Material Handlers, QA, and shift crew
  • Maintain a clean work area; following GMP
  • Adhere to all safety regulations (including PPE standards)
  • Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferred 1-4 years of prior experience operating a Lamination machine
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision
  • Work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of IVO certification training. (Industrial Vehicle Operator)
  • Successful completion of JSA reading. (Job Safety and Health Analysis)
  • Successful completion of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
  • Walk and/or stand for the duration of their shift.
  • Regularly lift from the floor to waist
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequently carry, pull, or pull heavy materials up to 10 yards
  • Occasionally climb, balance, kneel, squat
  • Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and reach
  • Frequently use hands to grasp, manipulate, and repetitively move
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to:
  • Frequently hot conditions (non-climate-controlled facility)
  • Frequently to exposed to dust, fumes, gases, and wetness
  • Occasionally to cold conditions and wetness
  • Noise level is loud, requiring ear protection.
