Laundry Tech

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:  

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and folding machines.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with laundry equipment and implement appropriate solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
• Install and set up new laundry equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in laundry equipment to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:  

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); vocational or technical training in mechanical or electrical fields is preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance, repair, or installation of machinery, preferably in the laundry or appliance industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
