This role involves performing dimensional inspections on engineering and production samples, including FAI layout inspections per AS9102 standards, using tools like CMM and Micro-Vu systems with high accuracy. Key responsibilities include creating inspection plans, documenting activities, supporting production and final inspections, and assisting with customer audits and internal audits per ISO standards. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of QA or inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with measurement tools, inspection software, and interpreting engineering drawings. They should be self-motivated, able to work independently and within a team, and possess good communication skills. Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001, ISO13485, and AS9100, along with understanding of injection molding and GD&T principles, is preferred. Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs and experience with CMMs or vision systems are also important.
