The Lead Machinist produces components for railing manufacturing by operating and maintaining machines such as water jet, CNC mill, CNC lathe, press brake, and shear.
Responsibilities include setting up and running equipment, interpreting blueprints, programming CNCs, using Flow software for cutting and nesting, collaborating with engineering on design issues, performing quality checks, and maintaining machines and work environment.
Qualifications require proficiency in Flow software, blueprint reading, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and at least 5 years of CNC and fabrication experience. Basic CAD skills are preferred.
Requires a high school diploma, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime. This role is initially temporary with potential for permanent hire after 90 days.
