This role involves supporting substation and transmission projects with a focus on electrical protection and control activities within the Power Networks sector.
- Performing technical design and execution of protection schemes for substations and switchyards, including bus, line, capacitor, and transformer protection.
- Developing and improving protection/control processes, including schematics, relay panels, and communication design.
- Preparing specifications, engineering drawings, calculations, and supporting procurement efforts.
- Leading and supervising engineering teams, ensuring project standards, schedules, and budgets are met.
- Conducting technical reviews, audits, and supporting proposal development.
- Interfacing with clients, coordinating with project teams, and performing site visits as needed.
- Ensuring quality assurance and proper document management in compliance with standards.
- Applying power system modeling tools, industry codes, and regulations with extensive protection and control experience in high-voltage substations.
