Job Summary:
We are looking for a Lead SAP Business Analyst with specialized expertise in Factory-to-Process (FTP) and Manufacturing to join our team. This position will focus on optimizing SAP solutions to support manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and factory management. As the lead analyst, you will collaborate with key stakeholders from manufacturing, operations, and IT teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions that drive operational efficiency and business transformation. You will play a critical role in streamlining manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless integration of FTP processes with SAP modules, and delivering high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for Factory-to-Process (FTP) and manufacturing processes within SAP.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, including manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams, to understand business needs and challenges.
Conduct workshops and interviews to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities related to FTP and manufacturing operations. - Solution Design & Optimization:
Lead the design and configuration of SAP solutions to streamline manufacturing processes, including production planning, materials management, shop floor control, and inventory management.
Configure and optimize SAP modules such as SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) to improve factory throughput, inventory accuracy, and material flow.
Work closely with SAP solution architects and technical teams to ensure FTP processes are fully integrated with manufacturing and supply chain operations. - Factory-to-Process (FTP) Integration:
Oversee the integration of Factory-to-Process (FTP) with core SAP manufacturing processes to ensure efficient data flow and synchronization between factory floor activities, production orders, and SAP systems.
Work with stakeholders to optimize the flow of materials, production schedules, and shop floor management activities in alignment with business goals. - Project Management & Delivery:
Lead cross-functional teams in delivering SAP manufacturing and FTP initiatives on time, within scope, and within budget.
Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, timelines, and risk management to ensure successful project execution.
Ensure alignment with business objectives, maintaining effective communication across all project stakeholders.
Provide oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation and design to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. - Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for business users and IT teams regarding SAP manufacturing and FTP processes.
Effectively communicate project progress, key milestones, risks, and issues to senior management and business stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately reflected in SAP solutions. - Process Improvement & Best Practices:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes, focusing on reducing costs, improving production efficiency, and optimizing resource utilization.
Identify opportunities for automation, enhanced data visibility, and better integration between SAP and shop floor systems.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company standards while aligning processes with evolving business strategies. - Testing & Quality Assurance:
Oversee the testing and validation of SAP solutions related to manufacturing and FTP, ensuring that all functionalities work as intended.
Manage the development and execution of test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Provide post-implementation support to resolve issues and ensure the system is fully optimized and running efficiently. - Training & Documentation:
Develop training materials and conduct end-user training for SAP users in manufacturing and FTP processes.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP system configurations, business processes, and procedures.
Assist in knowledge transfer and support business users in adopting new systems and processes. - Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead a team of business analysts, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions.
Foster collaboration and encourage knowledge-sharing across teams to build expertise in SAP manufacturing and FTP processes.
