Manager, Operations - Organizational Excellence



Why Is this Role Critical?



The Manager, Organizational Excellence -- Responsible for the design and delivery of successful leadership and professional learning and development programs for Operations and across SSB. This position is responsible for working closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to conceptualize, design, and deliver engaging and impactful learning solutions (e-learning, instructor-led training, blended solutions) that enhance the performance of our SSB employee population.



What Will You Be Accountable For?



*Needs Assessment. Design and conduct needs assessments with business/function leadership to identify individual and organizational learning and development needs and address current and future business challenges as appropriate. Research and identify external vendors, coaches, and off-the-shelf solutions and content that can meet the organization's development needs. Participates in assessment process for leadership potential, skills gap analysis, and/or team dynamics. Builds, delivers or recommends solutions for professional skills training for trending development needs as part of career development planning



*Program Design & Delivery. Plan, design, develop and manage learning solutions to meet a wide range of business needs across the company (e.g., new hire training, on-boarding, performance management, interview and selection, compliance, technical, behavioral, and leadership development) while maintaining a consistent and unified company learning and development framework. Employ instructional design principles to ensure high quality course material development. Expertly facilitates both classroom and virtual learning programs. Leverage techniques that maximize learner participation, comprehension and application of the material.



*Learning Evaluation, Measurement and System Management. Continually evaluate the effectiveness and quality of instructional programs using validated evaluation methodologies and input from internal stakeholders and training participants by creating qualitative, quantitative, formative, and summativeevaluation methods to track outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives. Maintain and update learning development tools and other instructional technologies as teams and programs change. Serve as Functional Owner of the SuccessFactors Learning Management System.



*Culture & Engagement. Collaborates with business leaders and HR partners to implement and manage the employee engagement strategy and supporting initiatives including pulse surveys, team recognition programs and tools that support the company's values and business objectives. Key responsibilities include enhancing talent selection and engagement while enabling employee growth, high performance, and promoting an inclusive environment where all members of the SSB community feel welcomed, valued, and supported.



*Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. Lead the shaping of a vision and a compelling message for diversity, inclusion, equity initiatives, and cultural understanding and competency. Focus on building professional affinity and engagement; Partner with key stakeholders and HR to translate the strategy to effectively integrate D&I into current business strategies and operational routines. Measures impact of new initiatives against key performance indicators and metrics to monitor effectiveness of existing programs and initiatives making recommended changes if needed.



What you will need to be successful in this role?



*Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or acceptable equivalent is required



*Minimum of 5 years of experience effectively designing, developing, delivering and evaluating learning programs. Prior Human Resources Business Partner is preferred.
