An exciting opportunity to join our creative, energetic, dedicated team of professionals! American Training is seeking a Licensed Clinician BCBA, LICSW or LMHC). In this role you will be responsible for Functional Behavioral Assessments, data review/analysis and the writing of behavior and safety plans.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Completing Functional behavior assessments
  • Writing behavior and safety plans
  • Analysis of data
  • Training of staff on behavior plans and data collection
  • Completing Day Program behavior assessments

Skills needed:

  • Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services and Human Rights regulations
  • Exceptionally strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to write effective behavior management plans
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Good community relations skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Physical and emotional effort:

  • Frequent walking, moderate standing and driving
  • Work environment frequently hectic, fast-paced with periods of high stress
  • Must be able to calmly and analytically respond to crisis and/or crisis situations
  • Must be able to appropriately intervene in medical, psychiatric and behavioral crises

Requirements: Currently licensed in Massachusetts with one of the following: An independent social worker, an applied behavior analyst, or a mental health counselor. Three years experience working in the field of mental health and developmental disabilities. Valid driver's license required, use of personal vehicle, as well as a satisfactory CORI and background check. Flexibility to work in Residential Homes.
