The Line Cook position is a full-time, non-exempt role responsible for supporting the kitchen team in meal preparation for the restaurant, events, banquets, and catering.
- Assist with cooking, following recipes precisely, and preparing ingredients such as washing, peeling, and slicing.
- Prepare soups, salads, and sauces while maintaining high presentation standards.
- Handle kitchen setup, opening, and closing procedures, and ensure sanitation and waste control.
- Meet food quality standards and adhere to recipes and operating procedures.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness to pass health inspections.
- Perform additional duties as needed, including assisting other departments.
Qualifications include at least 1 year of restaurant experience, safe equipment use, recipe literacy, and active TABC and Food Handler certifications. The role requires standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a moderate noise environment.
