Litigation and Information Governance Advisor

A growing tier 1 law firm specializing in the intersection of law and technology is adding Advisors who specialize in eDiscovery, information governance and data privacy/security. This role is 100% REMOTE and can be done anywhere in the continental US. The role will include periodic travel (less than 10%). The minimum billable hour requirement is 1620. Role requires at least 4 years of experience in eDiscovery (including extensive technical experience with Relativity) and information governance within a law firm or law firm vendor. Role requires experience managing the discovery production process from start to finish. A data-focused undergraduate or advanced degree is a plus. Position includes a base salary, annual bonus and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities
Advisor will be responsible for supporting the firm's competitive position in the eDiscovery, information governance, and data privacy services markets. Duties include:
- Support client relationships, including the identification of key issues, review of technical issues, development of strategies and analysis, and presentation of alternatives and solutions to the client representative; support ongoing relationship and follow up on implementation activities
- Proven technical expertise (i.e. Relativity) and applies sound judgment to develop solutions, provide technical feedback, and impact assessments to internal teams within specific specialism
- Lead the technical (non-legal) aspects of certain engagements and support the technical (non-legal) aspects of other engagements, identifying needs for technical input and provide quality analysis and recommendation of strategies related to the range of elements appropriate to the client situation
