Live-In Superintendent - Co-Op Building

Position Available: Live-In Superintendent

Location: Co-op Building, Queens, NY

Total Management NYC LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Superintendent for a cooperative building in the vibrant neighborhood of Elmhurst Queens. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who excels in building maintenance and upkeep.

$20 - $27 hourly

• Operate and maintain a dual-fuel boiler system. Certificate of Fitness for High-Pressure Boiler Operating Engineer is required.
• Conduct minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all current NYC building codes and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of building common areas, including hallways and sidewalks.
• Manage building garbage and recycling disposal efficiently.
• Supervise repairs conducted by unit owners and coordinate with outside vendors to ensure work is completed to standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents and resolve issues promptly through email, text, and phone.

• Certificate of Fitness for High-Pressure Boiler Operating Engineer.
• Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in using a smartphone and email for daily communications.
• Knowledge of NYC building codes and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
