This role involves coordinating domestic and international shipments to ensure accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.
It includes supervising and mentoring Logistics Specialists and Customs specialists, acting as the escalation point for shipment delays, carrier issues, and customs challenges.
Responsibilities also encompass task prioritization, workload management, auditing freight invoices for accuracy, and supporting import/export compliance.
Analyzing logistics data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements is key.
Partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics performance is expected.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (minimum 6 years), with at least 2 years in supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Preferred experience includes import/export logistics, customs systems, data analysis, and supervisory roles.
