This Logistics Support I position is based in Hazelwood, MO, with a duration of 5 months. The hourly pay ranges from $18-19/hr on W2 or $20-22/hr on 1099, with shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and potential weekend work once or twice a month.
The role involves monitoring the supply chain to prevent delays and shortages, and maintaining inventory and status information to optimize material movement. Responsibilities include:
- Using ERP systems to order, receive, ship, and store parts while updating records
- Ensuring stock levels support operations by processing purchase requisitions
- Tracking shipments, confirming carrier rates, consolidating loads, and choosing cost-effective transportation methods
- Acting as a communication link between quality, engineering, customer service, production control, and manufacturing to identify potential bottlenecks
