Seeking an experienced Machinist to support the Naval Research Laboratory's Tactical Electronic Warfare Division.
Responsibilities include mechanical assembly of electromechanical systems, fabrication of prototypes using additive and subtractive manufacturing, setup and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, and quality inspections.
The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience with CNC machining (Haas, Tormach), CAD interpretation, precision measuring tools, and shop maintenance.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, be a U.S. citizen, and hold an active Secret clearance with ability to upgrade.
Preferred skills include assessing manufacturing feasibility, managing multiple tasks independently, documentation, and safety oversight.
