Job Summary The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining the condition of the manufacturing equipment, including but not limited to repairing and/or replacing failed components, and performing preventative maintenance measures when applicable. This role is responsible for developing short and/or longer-term repairs that are geared towards improving quality as well as efficiency.
What You Will Do
• Perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment in accordance with blueprints, procedures, and manufacturer guidelines. • Install, repair, and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems using prior knowledge and on-the-job training. • Diagnose equipment and machinery malfunctions and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime. • Utilize prior knowledge, manufacturer guidelines, and on-the-job training to perform daily activities in a safe and effective way. • Use basic test equipment such as multi-meters, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems. • Reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing countermeasures aimed at root cause analysis. • Safely execute workplace rules and standards. • Monitor the safety, quality, and productivity of the production machinery and equipment. • Other maintenance duties as assigned.
