Job Overview:
Perform a variety of mammography procedures and exams that require independent judgment, technical skill and knowledge of the process of diagnosis of breast disease.
Qualifications:
Required:
Graduate of Accredited School of Allied Health Program of Radiography
Certifications and Licenses Required:
Current NJ license to practice
ARRT Registration,
Mammography Certification,
RTRM-Maintain CME credits
Essential Functions:
Performs mammography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision in accordance to policies and procedures,
Must provide patient services using digital mammography and Bone Station equipment,
The technologist must be competent in patient satisfaction as well as technical skill,
Exercises professional judgment in performance and patient care,
Correctly utilizes the Radiology Information System to facilitate patient functions,
Practices radiation protection safely routinely,
