Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, optimization, validation, and scale-up of cable assemblies in a Painesville, Ohio facility. This full-time, onsite role on 2nd shift involves ensuring smooth product transfer, participating in SQCD meetings, optimizing processes for efficiency and cost savings, developing fixtures and automation, conducting root cause analysis, supporting equipment validation, improving workflow layouts, and maintaining product quality through testing and sampling plans. The engineer will analyze costs, prepare reports, support equipment maintenance, develop training, and learn programming languages to support manufacturing.
Required qualifications include a BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering, strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office and SolidWorks, process development experience, knowledge of cable termination and plastics processing, and familiarity with statistical quality tools. U.S. citizenship or permanent residence is necessary for ITAR compliance.
