The Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift supports manufacturing processes and equipment through troubleshooting, calibration, programming, and diagnostics.
They collaborate with production teams to optimize efficiency and machine uptime, provide technical support, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
The role involves evaluating equipment performance, making machinery recommendations, troubleshooting electrical controls, and performing PLC adjustments.
Additional responsibilities include supporting equipment installation, calibration testing, and ensuring proper documentation and system backups.
Candidates should have an engineering or technical degree (preferred), at least 1 year of manufacturing automation experience, mechanical aptitude, and strong communication skills.
Experience with servo motors, VFDs, robotics, and control systems is a plus.
