You arrive ready to keep production moving. First, you stage parts and raw materials so each process can begin without delay. Throughout the shift, you tend equipment—adding coolant as needed and lubricating machine parts to keep everything running smoothly.
You keep a sharp eye on the conveyor, removing any foreign material from items as they move down the line to protect quality. Along the way, you record labor transactions and job details with precision so work is traceable and accurate.
Efficiency is always on your mind. You help control material, labor, and overhead costs by working efficiently and by minimizing energy use and material waste.
This is hands-on work: you regularly lift up to 50 lbs., approximately 20 times per day.
