Chemours is seeking a *Marketing Communications Specialist* to join our growing Communications team! This position will report directly to the Marketing Communications Senior Manager at our *Wilmington, DE location.*

The *Marketing Communications Specialist* has responsibility and oversight for the development, implementation and monitoring of product materials and programs across a variety of channels, including print, digital, social media, events, trade shows and customer collaboration. Reporting to the Global Marketing Communications Manager, this role will coordinate and manage efforts with cross-functional teams to develop and implement campaigns that support the strategies and objectives of the business. This role will also help with selected projects to support business unit Leadership team initiatives. Task could include developing messaging architecture, specifying vehicles/projects, reporting on project development and performance, and managing the creative development process with guidance from their manager and the business.

*The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*

* Works closely with manager and cross-functional teams to fully understand communications needs

* Create and implement tactical activities with direction from the Global Marketing Communications Manager and business team

* Assists with content development for both internal and external audiences, including website, digital media, white papers, and product tools and literature

* Assists with updating corporate website content in alignment with the business’ strategy

* Works with external agencies and vendors to design and execute campaigns

* Develops and manage digital marketing activities leveraging internal and external resources and platforms

* Tracks and reports on the effectiveness of communication vehicles and determine innovative ways to enhance our message and brand externally

* Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities

* Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums

* Provides support to the Director of Communications with Executive Leadership team initiatives

*The following is /required/ for this role:*

* Bachelor's Degree

* 3-5 years of marketing experience, particularly in marketing and/or communications

* Strong digital marketing acumen – SEO/SEM, email, database marketing, display advertising

* Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail

* Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills

*The following is /preferred/ for this role:*

* Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Marketo, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and content management systems
