In support of Agency emerging and statewide services growth, the Marketing Manager collaborates with the Communications team, internal Program Directors/Managers and external partners to oversee/execute strategic marketing campaigns that effectively elevate Agency brand awareness. Manages vendors/platforms ensuring consistent and compelling messaging, guiding the Marketing Specialist with day-to-day tactical direction, to ensure the delivery of campaigns. In addition, the results are measured in terms of audience engagement and participation in marketing-led events.
Campaign and Channel Leadership
- Strategic Marketing: Lead the logistical planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across Pacific Clinics emerging and statewide programs, Head Start and other functions statewide.
- Brand Messaging: Ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging across all marketing collateral and channels: social media, web, email, SMS, SEO/SEM/GEO, local search, print, podcasts and events.
- KPI Development: Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns and refinement of engagement strategies. Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership.
Content & Storytelling
- Engagement Marketing Strategy: Develop messaging journeys that align with program relationship objectives and benefit the engagement experience through email marketing campaigns, social/paid media and SMS to nurture leads and further engage with existing program participants.
- Marketing Campaign Development and Execution: Strategize and oversee development and execution of marketing campaigns that support service and program initiatives
- Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy ensuring consistent and engaging content across social platforms.
- Content Capture: Identify and support processes and strategy for capturing relevant data and leveraging on-site event content for use in marketing material development, awards strategies and social media content
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze marketing metrics to assess effectiveness and impact; Prepare reports for senior leadership and partners; Use data-driven insights to optimize engagement strategies and improve marketing outcomes.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies, including Google Analytics, Yelp and other platforms.
- SEM and Inbound Marketing: Implement/manage SEO and inbound marketing strategies, working with third-party experts as necessary.
- Calendar/Project Management: Assist with the direction and adherence to structured content plans across multiple programs and channels, including but not limited to: web content, podcast production, social media content, webinar production, website and landing page launches.
- Strategic Partnership Management: Manage vendors that align with the organization’s marketing strategy and maintain long-term relationships with existing partners.
- AI Adoption: Develop a general curiosity for the ethical use of AI for improving department efficiency.

Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience and five (5) or more years of integrated marketing and/or campaign experience in a marketing role, preferably within an agency or consulting setting (nonprofit, healthcare or education preferred).
- Proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across executives, staff, vendors, and partners.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and software, such as email marketing platforms, CRM systems and analytics tools
- Expert knowledge of Salesforce products and the Salesforce partner ecosystem is preferred
- Experience developing SMS Text Messaging and Short Code Campaigns and knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance related to TCPA, HIPAA, CCPA and CPRA
- Knowledge of SEO and experience working with third-party experts, external creatives, paid media teams/agencies to efficiently implement projects on time and within budget
- Experience engaging internal and external creative and paid media teams/agencies to efficiently implement projects on time and on budget
- Be the marketing engagement channel expert, monitoring industry trends to identify new strategies, tools and service providers/partners to help improve marketing capabilities
- Experience using AI and leveraging automation tools to improve customer relevance and campaign effectiveness preferred
- Will be required to travel approximately 5% of the time within California.
