Marketing Strategist

The Marketing Strategist at Mulbah is responsible for crafting compelling messaging and driving brand positioning across various platforms. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that copy for email marketing, social media, and ad campaigns not only aligns with our brands but also resonates deeply with their audiences.

We partner with founder-led, business-to-consumer companies generating a minimum of $3 million in revenue to help them grow meaningful brands. Responsibilities

Copywriting & Messaging Execution

  • Develop engaging and conversion-driven copy for email marketing, social media posts, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads.
  • Create compelling narratives that align with each brand’s positioning and voice.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging across all digital platforms.

Brand Positioning & Market Research

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand audience behaviors, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Fully own brand positioning for our clients, refining their messaging and storytelling approach.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure that positioning aligns with long-term growth strategies.

Performance & Optimization

  • Track performance metrics for marketing campaigns and refine messaging based on data insights.
  • Work alongside ad buyers and performance teams to ensure copy effectiveness and engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously optimize and innovate marketing strategies.

Results

  • Emails, ads, and social media posts drive meaningful engagement, conversions, and brand growth.
  • Brand positioning is clearly defined, with messaging that resonates deeply with target audiences.
  • Content strategy and execution align with broader business goals, driving measurable impact.
  • Performance insights are regularly integrated into messaging to enhance results.

Requirements

  • Experience writing and executing marketing copy for B2C brands, particularly in beauty, health, and wellness.
  • Ability to own brand positioning and develop persuasive messaging that differentiates brands in the market.
  • Strong research skills to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and competitor strategies.
  • A blend of creative storytelling and data-driven decision-making to optimize messaging for results.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with a small, efficient team.
  • Bonus: Experience with AI-driven content tools and an understanding of direct response marketing.

Salary

  • $50,000 to $75,000
