Key responsibilities include delivering subject-specific lessons, preparing instructional materials, complying with policies, participating in professional development and meetings, collaborating with staff, engaging families and community, supervising students, monitoring progress, and adjusting instruction accordingly.
Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree, relevant coursework, a valid teaching credential, and experience such as student teaching. Additional certifications may be needed for specialized roles like special education, ROP, bilingual, or adult education.
