The position involves setting up, operating, and maintaining MAZAK laser cutting machines to produce high-precision metal parts. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, reading blueprints and CAD drawings, selecting tools and programs, monitoring machine performance, performing inspections, maintaining records, and routine maintenance. Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with MAZAK lasers (2D/3D), cutting steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, and be capable of reading blueprints and measuring tolerances accurately.
