Are you mechanically inclined and looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our team! This position involves assembling and testing mechanical seals and aerospace subassemblies , following engineered process sheets, drawings, and quality specifications.

In addition to assembly work, the Mechanical Assembler will regularly assist the shipping department with international orders , requiring attention to detail and cross-training in aerospace customer requirements.

• Assemble and test mechanical seals and aerospace subassemblies according to engineered specifications.
• Perform Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) such as load, vacuum, and flow checks using precise measuring instruments.
• Inspect parts for defects, incorrect sizes, and faulty workmanship, ensuring top-quality production.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometers, dial calipers, and drop indicators to verify component accuracy.
• Perform rework when necessary, including lapping, polishing, and cleaning parts to meet quality standards.
• Assist in packaging and shipping , specifically for international orders, ensuring compliance with aerospace customer requirements.
• Utilize ERP systems for shipping & receiving transactions as needed.

✅ Strongly Preferred:

• 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience (experience with mechanical seals is a plus, but not required).
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints .
• Hands-on experience using micrometers, dial calipers, and other precision measuring tools .
• Mechanical aptitude – backgrounds in automotive, heavy equipment, or other mechanical fields are welcome!

✅ Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in aerospace, medical, or other high-precision industries .
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) .
• Prior exposure to quality management systems (QMS) .
• Previous experience in shipping/receiving , particularly international shipping .
